The SCIENCE is still not there!

Cars, machines, buildings, robots, computers, mobile phones ......etc, science has given us all! It has endowed us with so many things, the field of science and technology is at helm at the moment.  With the best cars, bikes, buses, trains, etc available we can travel to any place we want, with mobile phones and the Internet we are in touch with friends and family in any corner of the world, with airplanes we can fly like birds to any place we want, with ships we have conquered water. In short with all these amenities we have actually conquered our way of  life , we can choose the type and quality of life we want to enjoy. Science has indeed helped us to achieve this.

But did it ever occur to us to find out how it was possible??

We are able to fly ! HOW?
We are able to swim, dive and breath under water ! HOW?
We have cure for any disease known to mankind ! HOW?
We have computers, robots, machines to do our jobs ! HOW?

Yes ! How did science stumble upon so many things?

..................Nature
The birds taught us to fly, the fishes how to swim, the human body taught how medicine could work and mankind himself designed computers to do the job. To know all the facts would be to unravel the web of deceit that the scientists have woven, and our indolence to appreciate the ultimate creator.

Science has done nothing but kept on studying God's creations, each and every thing was inspired from his creations.

There are a few things which can lucidly explain the inefficiency of science. We are able to record our voice, listen to music using speakers, the cameras can take pictures, etc how? The speakers have capacitors dependent sensors which fluctuate when voice is present, same is the case of our ear drums, they vibrate when sound is present , the way cameras take pictures and the way the rays of light interact and form a picture in the retina of our eye are astonishingly the same.

The medicines, we believe they actually cure the disease? but little do we know that they are injected just to trigger our immune system, and the rest of the mechanism is handled by the body itself. There are cases where people get cured without any medication, their will and self desire was enough to cheat a fatal disease. He has designed the immune system, to protects us from so many germs through out the day, and its all for free! The reaction to a stimulus , almost involuntary, you shut your eyes automatically when some one is about to hit you, tears fall off during emotional trauma, we laugh when its funny, etc, all these actions, where did they come from? It was all designed , pre-programmed in us, and science is miserably trying to study it.

We had this facial recognition system seminar in our college, even though the field has developed a lot over the past few years it still has so many short comings, a full fledged perfect facial recognition or as a matter of fact any picture recognition could not be achieved, but how come a 2 month old baby is able to recognize his mother's silhouette, even if she's fully covered ? How can it respond to his parents voices, pick up words, learn to speak and analyze its surroundings automatically? Well science is still trying to figure it out ;)

Robots!! They call it the paragon of science’s supremacy! I say they are the dumbest machines available, an epigram of science's inefficiency!. We design robots, we program them to work according to set parameters, they take input from the surroundings, analyze them and act. (hmmm! waise how did they invent this :/ ?..........ahhh! The Human Brain), but what if the surroundings change, what if there aren't any? answer is they're useless. A computer is the father of all the dumb things man has ever created, it can't do anything new or anything by itself, everything has to be clearly given and explained ,only then can it process the data to perform its tasks.
Science gave us electricity , but how? We burn coal, using wind, water etc, all borrowed from the nature. What if any of those were not there, will science still boast about its creations?
We talk about the word artificial intelligence , but do we know what actually it is? its based on algorithms which tend to imbibe random actions time to time. i.e. the machine is programmed to do random actions by itself and then test whether it is applicable to the surrounding or not! In other words, its a system which is designed to constantly make mistakes and in this process there are chances that it may stumble upon something useful (oh yes, that is very intelligent! :p ).

And they say Science ne taraqqi karli!  kya ghanta taraqqi hui?

My point in writing this post was to show that it took millions of scientists and thousands of years to define science what it is now! And its still developing, a child so naive that it fails to properly embrace his creations. But surely one thing has happened, it brought us close to GOD’s creation. It has shown us who holds the paramount of excellence, who defines the laws , who takes care of every one and who caters to there desires in need. Oh yes, Science you are still not there!

What do I like?

We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. We're always exploring and experimenting....on this way let the mind not be the one who is controlling u ......but u who is controlling it

Musings of a 10yr old:

Monu, his name was, now this little kid saw a remote control car in a local toys store one day, he instantly developed a longing for it, but sadly his typical Indian father had some other plans, he wanted to instigate some disciplines in this little fellow, said a straight NO , poor he, weeped and weeped  till they came out and sat in the car, then again weeped, the father was also as resolute as his son, stood by his NO all the way, but this little guy's longing was so strong, he vaged a small revolt against his parents, food was his first and foremost weapon (mine too, Damn! what days they were!), hit the main course with a daring defiance, yes the main course only ( chips and pepsi can cover it later ;-) )
"I want that car, I want that car....'ahm ahm aheem' :'-(" , the weeping was not to stop, father sensed it, but no choice, he redundantly succumbs to his demand.
10 days later:
You find that car in some corner, dejectedly lying on its back, craving for some kid to come by and play with it. I wondered if this was the fate of that car, then why the fuss in the first place? :-/. but that's not all, now the kid has seen a new toy gun in the general store...........:-)

Musings of a 20 year old:

Ms.Reena Thakur, now she's not just any other girl, she's Reena, voted college's best girl by the boys community , very dynamic, very astute ,carried an aura of self confidence in her strides. Several hounds were already rejected for their proposals, you could hear about proffery fights for this girl every now and then, there were many who even had to gather the courage to go to her, and the rest needless to say backed off :-D

There was our Monu too in this same college, but he on the other hand developed a very silent kind of an attitude over the years, reserved, diffident, god knows what happend to him, he refrained himself from parties, booze, girls and any form of entertainment. He was basically what Reena Thakur was not.

Over the course of time, (lets not get into the details), these two personalities came close to each other, they bonded like the magnet's two poles, many hearts shattered in the college, and the word went out , someone said, "Yeah definitely Opposites attract each other"!

Musings of an old man:

Our Mr.Monu again, he has 4 children and 6 grandchildren now, has these beautiful young one's playing around him , enjoying his namak ka thaila, ghoda sawari, all the fun and joy explicitly in front of his very eyes, this happy old man couldn't ask for more, he had everything he wanted. The very sight of his grandchildren would sprout the child in him again, making him forget all his pains, the stoop, the joint pain, neck pain, almost everything gone, as if by some divine intervention, pumping life again in his loins ,living joy flowing in all his viens.

Now , this brings me to define the actual topic of our discussion:

What do we like ? The above three stanzas show different stages of life having completely different tastes in their desires, but what is that which is common to all of them? the 10 yr old kid likes a remote control car, then Ms Reena who is so smart and dynamic but falls for our geeky Monu, the old guy who loves his grandchildren, what is in common to all of them??

The fact is, you long for things which you don't have, its as simple as the fact says it, you are driving a bike one day and coming to college, you see a Santro pass by, you begin to crave for that Santro, you develop a longing to buy one?.........but for the person sitting in the Santro? for him a BMW passes by on the same day, he too begins to crave for a BMW similarly. Or I can say the other way to define a "like" or "longing" is that you have lost interest in your prior possessions( which were also victims of  your past desires).

They say the opposites attract! why do they attract? We always long for qualities which we don't have, for example our Ms Reena was very dynamic, very outspoken, but where was it she lost her heart? a person might be smart and dynamic, but underneath he'll subconsciously be craving for someone who's totally opposite, who is not what he is.

What happened to little Monu, he was initially crying for the car,but when he got the car?, he lost interest in it, (because he had it with him) , then he started for a toy gun , (fact: small children are actually monitored carefully in some research studies in order to understand certain traits in adults.)

Our grandfather Monu, what was he craving for? He surely wants his youth back, to be strong and handsome again, enjoy life again, he internally craves for that, but being with small kids , with all the energy and happiness around , he could vividly live his dream!

Yup, that's how it is, the mind is so desultory in its longings, it always needs something new to harvest on.

Better is to try to get what you like , than to like what you get!

My first Love

Oh! My dear FB.
                I have a cheating heart,
                My love is divided.
I have given you a part of my life,
but the world won’t understand us,
                the bond between us :(
You are the last thought in my mind at night and my motivation to jump out of bed every morning. I am so sorry my Miss FB. I have always met you with the last night’s bad breath, couldn’t waste time to brush my teeth to meet you.
               Your love so refreshing.

Oh dear Face book, I have read your books and pages with so much perfection, I can almost Master  your exams, but don’t know why my college teachers never understand this part of my social education, My grades keep going low, the graphs keep quelling down. But still, I love you more.

I  love u my FB.  I am loyally yours, I have stopped TV, even video games. Despite my infatuation, it has always been a one-sided love, I am not complaining, its just that I am complete with her.

There are a few points about my FB which I would like to point out :

Insecurity

What made me hook up with Miss FB, was motivated by how she made me feel. I was always overwhelmed with the number of requests for friendship I would receive. I open my account anticipating the notifications and requests, pumping in paranoia in me, making me feel so important.

There are days in our relationship when the love meter is so high. I get so many likes, so many  notifications, messags,  friend requests, page requests, group requests....... Oh My!

And there also days when I feel so lonely, so abandoned, and so deserted. Making me jealous of all the other users on FB who get more activity log on their profiles. For days I don’t get notifications. My heart keeps shattering.
But I still love you <3

NO Self-Control

                I am not an “addict”.
My life was so happy and meaningful, before we ever met, yet her magnetism is so strong. I keep going back for more, now it seems beyond my control. They say to be addicted is to devote oneself habitually or compulsively........ Hmmmm! I am not sure about that ;-)
Yeah, there were instances ,specially during the exam periods, when my Dad would come up online from his office, and scold me to get back to the books, but I would convince him for 5mins ;-), would then block his account, and then would enjoy the pleasure with my dear FB. ;-)

Taking over of the world

My FB is so popular. A multi billion dollar baby!

I can show you the power of it:

www.facebook.com/bbcworldnews
www.facebook.com/nokia
www.facebook.com/blackberry
.
.
.
www.facebook.com/misbahuddin1 ;-)
etc

I always thought Facebook helped me getting close to all my friends, but now I realize It has actually decayed those links and bonds between us. I have them on my friends list but we talk and meet less nowadays. Its like inviting a guest at your place and then not talking to him. Oh Yeah ! My fb has been very possessive! <3

But still I am not  an “addict”! ;-)

Action=Reaction

We always look for the window, a small aperture, a beacon of hope or betterment which we think would free us from our obscurity. But that never happens, does it? You keep on falling , falling in to the adjacent  predicaments ,as if it were all interwoven, you feel "why only me?", I say , you are not alone buddy, but everyone's on the same boat. The joy which we always keep on pursuing, is it actually present? That elated happiness, the world where we would never have to worry, where the life would turn out simply pleasant, but don't you think it would be of no meaning?
Everything, all that we see is nothing, but a series of interconnected web, a web which was designed to keep everything ensnared, where everyone knowingly or unknowingly would work for each other!

You call it help, or call it aid, to support or to oppose, to foe or to succor! I say its never for FREE! Yes, every single thing happens for a reason- I curtsy to the Human nature!;-)

"The connections may be invisible"-The Da Vinci Code

Often the truth is beheld, the false rules it all, you think the work you did was for your own benefit, but there's always someone who at the same time thinks "the work was done for me"! Its always correlated, right from the begining to the end, everything was designed, percieved, and we are simply puppets who dance on the masters notes.
On a simple note, the correlation goes like this, you do it because someone wants you to do, now that someone could be a  person, a thing, or may be both, but who rules that someone? Ofcourse there's a someone again!
Right from your begining, your birth, it was nothing but addition of a new strand in the webbing, there was a reason for it, you being a person, the single strands grew and joined others in the web, the work you choose, your actions, all were defined and were set according to a predefined pattern,a reason, identify that reason, you might find the joy or an abyss in your being! The spirit , the light which runs in everyone , that beacons to their well-being, or atleast as we think so ,has a common aim! Where everything douses for eternity, and not to forget, there is always a tribunal set for everyone, where one will give the reason for one's actions, and there will always be a contemporary in the same court who will account for the reactions which you caused! Again, all the actions and reactions are interconnected. And these connections are mostly kept hidden!

Changing trends in vogue

Trend, originated from the word bend -- the way things bend, change or evolve.
But the bending of vogue can be termed "Never ending" ;). Each day you see men and women wearing different kinds of colourful clothes, designer belts, shoes, watches, purses...etc just coloring our precincts. But the trend change in the dyeing of one's hair stands apart - red, violet, orange, maroon, blue, ....I heard there are around 76 shades to blend your hair in. God! ( I always assumed there were just 24 colours -- just like my color pencil box :P). As far as I remember, an uncle of mine, about 10 yrs back, had his hair dyed black, but pity, he stood like an aberrant caricature of whom all the kids made fun ! That too for just BLACK !! Ab dekho, having it painted in all the different colors of the rainbow is no more an aberration, but a "fashion statement" !. Sure that's a bend!
I was in class 7 when my mother got my first suit made for me. Back then, my school's uniform was navy blue ,so I had to have nothing but a matching navy blue suit. But now, only last month, I had to get another one made for a cousin's reception party. As I went into a decent shop and looked at the suits on the mannequins , the salesman comes up to me and asks, "Sir, what are you looking for?" I bluntly reply "Party suits". "What kind of party suits, sir?" (Ainnnn! That was a dud on me , I thought they were only of two types-formal or informal) When I just shrugged..He showed me the options pointing at the mannequins as he spoke : "Would you like Festive? Cocktail? Semi formal? After five? corvy casual?"..... I was like FISH. "Dude, I just need a decent suit, just to attend a reception party..!!" The next thing is , I am walking up the stairs, because they have a completely different section dedicated for the wedding ceremonies!! God! am I too slow or the world changing so fast??
Amitabh Bachan wears Reid n Taylor while Amir khan wears Van Huesen, uses Samsung phones and Titan watches. Ranbir uses Panasonic Tv's and Hrithik eats Hide and Seek..!! And Of course!! Special mention for Sallu bhai, the ultimate trend setter- what he wears, the nation wears with him . He gets bald and you have a bunch of walking eggs on the streets. He gets naked, the gyms get busy! ;) ...I don't wanna get to Shahrukh , he must be already idolized in every place. Guys, this is the limit! Has anyone wondered where do these people set the trends from? No where, they make the bend! One fine morning one of them goes to the saloon, the designer has something abstract in his mind, he does it, and he doesn't care. One decides to have a full body tattoo , One might simply come to work in his tracks, they don't give a damn. They don't need to worry about what others are wearing. They don't worry about getting termed "Out of Fashion!" , then why should we?
Its high time we take our own such bends. People copy whom they believe is the best, their idol. Its high time we stop copying and set our own trends and It wont be possible till you believe in Yourself!!

Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim

Finally , my blog is made , its about 6 months now when the thought of having this blog creeped in. But as the saying goes, 'Time is something which prevents everything at happening at once'. Yes! got time at my disposal now so penning down or rather 'keying down' this little blog!
To speak on the title of this blog "Being Yourself":
He who trims himself to suit everyone will soon whittle himself away.  ~Raymond Hull
Me, this is the two letter word we all need to believe in! God has everyone created with the same proportion of ingredients, all of us have the same potential in some or the other respect, but the fact is, it is on us, to utilize that potential to our benefit! Live life to the fullest, enjoy what you do, be functional to your ideas, most of all believe in them!
There was this little boy who always asked questions , who doubted almost everything, even his own existence! who couldn't accept things in their aggregated form, as if they were put like a bowl of noodles , and this kid would separate each noodle before eating them . Now there were other kids who could eat away the noodles without separating them, after all they were suppose to go into the stomach only. The only difference was this particular kid had all his thoughts cleared up. He knew what to accept and what to abhor. All his classmates made a mockery of him, but still he refused to renounce, what made him go on was his Beleif in himself. He didn't care what his classmates thought, even the teachers took him as a slow coach. But he simply didn't care. He went on. He was like the salt, which added spice, a change in the regular dish! And when he grew up, the same problems prevailed! But this time they were on his side!.........he was believed to bring about a change in any organisation he would go!
The point is, all great people made their marks by believing in themselves, and the rest of the world simply copies them.
